This study explores the implementation of automation in healthcare at San Pablo Colleges Medical Center, focusing on achieving operational efficiency at scale. The study employed a descriptive research method. The participants of the study were 100 respondents including doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and patients, selected based on simple random sampling. Key findings reveal that medical automation has streamlined appointment scheduling, reduced wait times and manual workload, minimized human errors, and increased patient satisfaction. Utilizing automation, San Pablo Colleges Medical Center has been able to optimize resource allocation, enhance staff productivity, and provide better patient care. Additionally, automation has improved patient data management, ensuring secure and efficient access to patient information. The following recommendations were proposed: Firstly, implementing specialized systems and software that enable the efficient management of medical records, appointment scheduling, billing and payment tracking, and other administrative tasks; Secondly, implementing an electronic clinical history system that allows every patient’s medical record to be managed digitally and lastly, implementing turn management systems and patient calling that notify patients when it’s their turn and keep them updated about delays or any changes in the schedule. Furthermore, they can also include screens or devices that show the order, minimizing unnecessary waiting and improving doctor care. Overall, the findings suggest that automation has been instrumental in achieving operational efficiency at scale in San Pablo Colleges Medical Center, highlighting its potential to transform healthcare operations and improve patient outcomes.
