In this study investigates the strategic approach to data governance and security in healthcare, with a specific focus on protecting patient information at San Pablo Colleges Medical Center. The study assesses employee awareness and implementation of the CIA Triad principles – Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability – through a structured questionnaire administered to employees across different departments. A total of 100 employees, selected based on stratified random sampling. Key demographic information is collected alongside responses on awareness, implementation, and perception of data governance measures. Using weighted mean as the statistical treatment reveals insights into the current state of data governance and security practices. Findings highlight strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. The recommendations include measures to enhance awareness, strengthen security implementation, and address challenges in maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This study contributes to strengthening data governance and security in healthcare, ensuring patient information protection and regulatory compliance.
